Servicing to both new and existing systems to meet HSE guidance and British Standards

Gate/Barrier Planned Preventative Maintenance:

Providing planned preventative and reactive servicing to all automated gate and barrier systems giving customers peace of mind reliability and longevity. Schedules can be tailored to meet a customers specific requirements and level of usage either on a contractual or non-contractual basis, generally recommended as annual or bi-annual visits dependant upon operational parameters. Reactive callout on a next day response time for specific contractual clients.

Under current regulations and directives it is a legal obligation to propose a minimum of bi annual safety inspections for automated entrance systems. Our normal practice is to incorporate this into a full Planned Preventative maintenance scheme.

Under EEC and Health and Safety regulations EN12453 and in accordance with the supply of machinery (Safety) regulations 1992, it is a requirement that the end user/customer of all industrial doors and automated gate and barrier systems shall establish a fully documented maintenance regime in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. The essential stipulated requirement is a bi-annual inspection of all safety systems. Our proposal includes to cover this aspect, and all equipment manufacturers recommended service requirements, reducing the likelihood of system degradation and unforeseen failures.

We also aim to keep our customers abreast of all changes to health and safety regulations and British Standards. These regulations areĀ  in a state of evolution, but it is imperative end users are kept aware of any possible requirements. Although not essentially a requirement, we provide recommendations with each report detailing any modifications required to ensure the system is kept up to date with changes in these regulations and ensuring clients are fully abreast of any changes.
